Alice R. Talkington aus New York City ist die Studioinhaberin von Rebell Pilates. Eine ehemalige Tänzerin, sie trainierte während ihrer Ausbildung u.a. mit vormaligen Schülern von Pilates wie z.B. Jay Grimes (1940-2024) und Edwina Fontaine (1928-2014). Seit 2011 ist Alice beispielsweise in London, Wien, und Boston als Trainerin tätig gewesen. Zu ihren ehemaligen Kunden gehören Christine Kaufmann, Opernsängerin Albina Shagimuratova, Schauspielerin Astrid Posner, und Schriftsteller Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre. Alice hat eineinhalb Jahre lang einen Rückbildungskurs in München geleitet. 2015 veranstaltete sie Deutschlands ersten großen Kongress für Contrology mit Gratz Pilates als Sponsor. Während Alices vierjähriges Berliner Aufenthalts war ihr Coach Moses Urbano, ein Protégé von Romana Kryzanowska, die Nachfolgerin von Joe Pilates. Zudem übt Alice seit 2002 Ashtanga Yoga und hat 2019 die ersten drei Niveaus der ELDOA Methode abgeschlossen.

The Rebell Pilates studio is located at Theodor-Heuss-Platz and is on the first floor directly above the Lohnsteuerberatungsverbund office. There are plenty of parking spaces in Konrad-Adenauer-Allee. You can reach it by RVV bus 7 or 8, the Theodor-Heuss-Platz stop is less than 150 metres away. The stairs to the entrance can be reached from the south-west side of the building, Zeigetdorfer Straße. Large windows in both training rooms provide sufficient daylight and blinds offer discretion and comfort. The new studio is equipped with a kitchen, toilet and large built-in cupboards.
